Never read Fitzgerald? You Gatsby kidding me!
Welcome to Nottingham's library! My name is Kimberly Cordella, and I have been enjoying my role as librarian since I started in May 2022.
An interview with Ms. Cordella:
What would you like to achieve this school year? I am hoping to introduce our research databases to more students. Not only will online databases help prepare students for college, but while still in high school, it will make research faster and more precise. Databases can be life-changing!
What can last year's students expect to see again this year? I enjoyed working with SS and ELA classes, so expect to see me pop up in your Google Classrooms again! Also, the monthly lunchtime quizzes gained a following by the end of the year, so those will return. Unboxing posts were popular on Instagram, so I will continue to reveal books that way. I personally enjoyed sharing shelf space with students' art projects. It personalized the open space.
Interesting facts:
Last Book Finished: The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris
Books Currently Reading: Brave New Words: How AI will Revolutionize Education by Salman Khan; American Royals by Katharine McGee; and nightly the Hunger Games series with my daughter
Favorite Drink: Green tea (iced or hot)
Hobbies: Reading, Baking, Traveling
