Financial Aid and New Jersey Stars Program

Each year, a Senior Scholarship Google Classroom page is created. All seniors are invited to join.  All scholarship opportunities that are sent to the Counseling Office are posted in this Google Classroom.  Seniors should check this classroom regularly as scholarships have deadlines, and missing a deadline will result in a student being ineligible.  

Scholarship opportunities are also available in SchooLinks. SchooLinks can be accessed through Clever. You can review information about SchoolLinks by clicking 'SchoolLinks Information' underneath the Guidance Office subpages.

New Jersey Stars Scholarship Program is offered by New Jersey.  All students who graduate in the top 15% of their class are eligible for NJ Stars.  This scholarship provides five tuition free semesters at the local community college.  All student names and contact information is submitted to HESAA (Higher Education Student Assistance Authority) in October of their senior year.  Any student who moves into the top 15% at graduation is also eligible. No names can be added after the initial submission, so any student who earns NJ Stars can access that scholarship by enrolling at Mercer County Community College and contacting the MCCC FInancial Aid office.  All students must keep a 3.2 GPA in order to remain NJ Stars eligible.
